Anti-RRS1 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein ribosome biogenesis regulator 1 homolog. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 365 amino acid residues and a mass of 41.2 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the nucleus. It is notably widely expressed in many tissue types. A member of the RRS1 protein family, RRS1 is known to be involved in ribosomal large subunit assembly. Synonyms for this target antigen include RRS1 ribosome biogenesis regulator homolog, homolog of yeast ribosome biogenesis regulator, homolog of yeast ribosome biogenesis regulatory protein RRS1, and ribosome biogenesis regulatory protein homolog. RRS1 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. A number of RRS1 antibodies have been mentioned in research publications and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. In addition, ELISA is also a common application.
