Anti-HMG2A antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the HMG2A antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the HMGB3 gene, which encodes high mobility group box 3. This protein is known to function in innate immune responses and the regulation of cell differentiation, among other biological roles. The human version of HMG2A has a canonical amino acid length of 200 residues and a protein mass of 23 kilodaltons. It is reported to be localized in the nucleus and cytoplasm of cells and notably expressed in the placenta, nasopharynx, and bronchus. This target antigen may also be known as HMG-2a. Indicated applications for HMG2A antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, and Immunohistochemistry.
