Anti-chromosome 13 open reading frame 42 antibodies are used for the immunodetection of the protein encoded by the C13orf42 gene. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 325 amino acid residues and a mass of 37.4 kDa. Other names for this target antigen include long intergenic non-protein coding RNA 371, long intergenic non-protein coding RNA 372, and uncharacterized protein C13orf42. Gene orthologs have been identified in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog and chicken species.
