There are over 70 anti-COL4A1 antibodies from over 40 different suppliers shown below. You can also read 2 reviews from researchers who have used these antibodies in applications like Immunofluorescence with a wide variety of samples such as Mouse Tissue.
In humans, this target is encoded by the gene, collagen type IV alpha 1 chain (COL4A1). Orthologs for COL4A1 have also been reported in other species, including mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken.
The canonical COL4A1 protein is 1669 amino acids in length, 160.6 kDa in mass, and has a secreted subcellular localization. It is a member of the Type IV collagen protein family. COL4A1 functions in extracellular matrix structural constituent conferring tensile strength and extracellular matrix structural constituent, as well as having a role in development, extracellular matrix organization, and signal transduction. Tissue-specific expression of COL4A1 has been observed in several tissues, including placenta. Post-translational modifications have been described, notably glycosylation and proteolytic cleavage.
Synonyms for this protein include: BSVD; BSVD1; COL4A1s; PADMAL; RATOR; collagen alpha-1(IV) chain; COL4A1 NC1 domain; arresten.
