Anti-C11orf2 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target C11orf2 is a known alias name of the protein VPS51 subunit of GARP complex, encoded by the VPS51 gene in humans. This 782-amino acid residue protein is known to act as component of the GARP complex that is involved in retrograde transport from early and late endosomes to the trans-Golgi network (TGN). It is localized to the Golgi of the cell.
