Anti-LEDGF antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the LEDGF antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the PSIP1 gene, which encodes PC4 and SRSF1 interacting protein 1. This protein is known to function in chromatin remodeling and the regulation of transcription, among other biological roles. The human version of LEDGF has a canonical amino acid length of 530 residues and a protein mass of 60.1 kilodaltons, although 3 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the nucleus of cells and widely expressed in many tissue types. Other names for this target antigen include DFS70 and DFS70. Indicated applications for LEDGF antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, Immunocytochemistry, and Immunohistochemistry.
