Anti-Rab1 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the Rab1 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the RAB1A gene, which encodes RAB1A, member RAS oncogene family. This protein is known to function in autophagy pathways and cell migration, among other biological roles. The human version of Rab1 has a canonical amino acid length of 205 residues and a protein mass of 22.7 kilodaltons, although 3 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the ER, Golgi, and cytoplasm of cells and widely expressed in many tissue types. Rab1 is a member of the Rab protein family. Indicated applications for Rab1 antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, Immunofluorescence, and Immunohistochemistry.
