Anti-CD66c antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the CD66c antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the CEACAM6 gene, which encodes CEA cell adhesion molecule 6. This protein is known to function in the apoptotic pathway and cell adhesion, among other biological roles. The human version of CD66c has a canonical amino acid length of 344 residues and a protein mass of 37.2 kilodaltons. It is reported to be localized in the cell membrane of cells and notably expressed in the rectum, lung, colon, and appendix. This target antigen may also be known as CEAL. These CD66c antibodies are widely used in ELISA experiments, among other applications.
