Anti-XAGE-2 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the XAGE-2 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the XAGE2 gene, which encodes X antigen family member 2. The human version of XAGE-2 has a canonical amino acid length of 111 residues and a protein mass of 12.4 kilodaltons. It is reported to be notably expressed in the placenta. XAGE-2 is a member of the GAGE protein family. Immunohistochemistry is the most common application for the XAGE-2 antibodies listed below. ELISA and Immunofluorescence are also common applications.
