Anti-Carboxypeptidase M antibodies are directed against the protein encoded by the gene CPM in humans. The Carboxypeptidase M protein has a reported amino acid length of 443 and an expected mass of 50.5 kDa. The protein may also be known as renal carboxypeptidase, and urinary carboxypeptidase B. Variants of this antigen may also be found in other species, including canine, porcine, monkey, mouse and rat.
