Anti-Neurotactin antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target Neurotactin is a known alias name of the protein C-X3-C motif chemokine ligand 1, encoded by the CX3CL1 gene in humans. This 397-amino acid residue protein is a reported chemokine that acts as a ligand for both CX3CR1 and integrins ITGAV:ITGB3 and ITGA4:ITGB1. It is localized to the cell membrane and is secreted of the cell and features O-glycosylated and cleaved post-translational modifications. In terms of tissue expression, it is reported to be expressed in the seminal plasma, endometrial fluid and follicular fluid. Other synonyms for Neurotactin include ABCD-3, C3Xkine, and CXC3. Western Blot is a widely used application for the Neurotactin antibodies listed below. In addition, ELISA is also a common application.
