Anti-ALDRL6 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the ALDRL6 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the MIOX gene, which encodes myo-inositol oxygenase. The human version of ALDRL6 has a canonical amino acid length of 285 residues and a protein mass of 33 kilodaltons, although 2 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the cytoplasm of cells and notably expressed in the kidney. ALDRL6 is a member of the Myo-inositol oxygenase protein family.
