Anti-AHHR antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the AHHR antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the AHRR gene, which encodes aryl hydrocarbon receptor repressor. This protein is known to mediate dioxin toxicity and is involved in regulation of cell growth and differentiation. The human version of AHHR has a canonical amino acid length of 701 residues and a protein mass of 76.3 kilodaltons, although 3 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the nucleus and cytoplasm of cells. Indicated applications for AHHR antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, and Immunohistochemistry.
