Anti-Rgpr-p117 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the Rgpr-p117 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the SEC16B gene, which encodes SEC16 homolog B, endoplasmic reticulum export factor. This protein is known to function in autophagy pathways and Golgi transport, among other biological roles. The human version of Rgpr-p117 has a canonical amino acid length of 1060 residues and a protein mass of 116.6 kilodaltons, although 3 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the ER and Golgi of cells and notably expressed in the duodenum and small intestine. Rgpr-p117 is a member of the SEC16 protein family.
