Anti-Pleckstrin 2 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein encoded by the PLEK2 gene. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 353 amino acid residues and a mass of 40 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the membrane, cell projections, and cytoplasm. It is believed to help orchestrate cytoskeletal arrangement. Other names for this target antigen include pleckstrin 2 homolog.
