Anti-aos antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target aos is a known alias name of the protein Rho GTPase activating protein 31, encoded by the ARHGAP31 gene in humans. This 1444-amino acid residue protein is known to function as a GTPase-activating protein (GAP) for RAC1 and CDC42. It is localized to the cell projections of the cell and features phosphorylated post-translational modifications. It is reported to be widely expressed in many tissue types.
