Anti-frizzled8 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target frizzled8 is a known alias name of the protein frizzled class receptor 8, encoded by the FZD8 gene in humans. This 694-amino acid residue protein is a known receptor for Wnt proteins. It is localized to the Golgi and cell membrane of the cell and features ubiquitinated and glycosylated post-translational modifications. In terms of tissue expression, it is notably expressed in fetal kidney, followed by brain and lung. Other synonyms for frizzled8 include FZ-8, hFZ8, and frizzled-8. Western Blot is the most common application for the frizzled8 antibodies listed below. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
