Anti-H6pdh antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the H6pdh antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the H6PD gene, which encodes hexose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase/glucose 1-dehydrogenase. This protein is known to function in carbohydrate metabolism and homeostasis, among other biological roles. The human version of H6pdh has a canonical amino acid length of 791 residues and a protein mass of 88.9 kilodaltons, although 2 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the ER of cells and widely expressed in many tissue types. Other names for this target antigen include CORTRD1, G6PDH, and GDH. Western Blot is the most common application for the H6pdh antibodies listed below. Immunofluorescence and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
