Anti-interferon lambda 3 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein encoded by the IFNL3 gene. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 196 amino acid residues and a mass of 21.7 kDa. It is known to be a secreted protein. A member of the Lambda interferon protein family, it is known to be involved with innate immune responses. Other names for this target antigen include interferon, lambda 4, interleukin-28B, interleukin-28C, and cytokine Zcyto22.
