Anti-ZUC antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the ZUC antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the PLD6 gene, which encodes phospholipase D family member 6. This protein is known to function in the metabolism of lipids and spermatid development, among other biological roles. The human version of ZUC has a canonical amino acid length of 252 residues and a protein mass of 28.3 kilodaltons. It is reported to be localized in the mitochondria and Golgi of cells and widely expressed in many tissue types. ZUC is a member of the Phospholipase D protein family. Indicated applications for ZUC antibodies listed below include ELISA and Western Blot.
