There are over 170 anti-cGAS antibodies from over 30 different suppliers shown below. Choose from either monoclonal or polyclonal antibodies for a variety of applications, such as Western blot, ELISA, Flow Cytometry, IHC and Immunofluorescence.
In humans, this target is encoded by the gene, cyclic GMP-AMP synthase (CGAS). Orthologs for CGAS have also been reported in other species, including mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken.
The canonical cGAS protein is 522 amino acids in length, 58.8 kDa in mass, and has a nuclear, cytoplasmic and membrane subcellular localization. It is a member of the Mab-21 protein family. cGAS functions in ATP binding and 2',3'-cyclic GMP-AMP synthase activity, as well as having a role in the innate immune system. Its expression has been studied in the monocytic cell line THP1. Post-translational modifications have been described, notably phosphorylation, sumoylation and proteolytic cleavage.
Synonyms for this protein include: C6orf150; MB21D1; h-cGAS; 2'3'-cGAMP synthase; Mab-21 domain containing 1.
