Anti-SMIM9 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein small integral membrane protein 9. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 99 amino acid residues and a mass of 10.8 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the cell membrane. SMIM9 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, bovine and chimpanzee species.
