Anti-AMY3 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the AMY3 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the AMY2B gene, which encodes amylase alpha 2B. This protein is known to function in carbohydrate metabolism and homeostasis, among other biological roles. The human version of AMY3 has a canonical amino acid length of 511 residues and a protein mass of 57.7 kilodaltons, although 2 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be a secreted protein that is notably expressed in the pancreas. Other names for this target antigen include AMY2 and HXA. Indicated applications for AMY3 antibodies listed below include ELISA, Flow Cytometry, Western Blot, Immunofluorescence, and Immunohistochemistry.
