Dengue Virus 1 (DENV-1) is a serotype of the mosquito-borne virus responsible for Dengue fever. A member of the Flaviviridae family, the virus is enveloped, spherical, and contains a ssRNA genome about 11-kb in size. DENV-1 shares approximately 65% of its genome with the other serotypes. Antibodies against dengue virus 1 are available from a variety of suppliers.
