AKAP7 have been shown to regulate neuronal ion channels. AKAP7alpha is the first AKAP7 splice variant identified and it is a membrane bound protein containing a lipid modification domain in the amino terminus. It also shown to be interact with sodium channels in the brain, and is required for feedback inhibition of the epithelial Na+ channel. Here we checked the time course effect of chemoattractant by AKAP7 expression by chemoattractant.

We did immunoprecipitation first and performed western blot to detect and analyzed the AKAP7 expression. We found that there is a time dependent increase of AKAP7 expression by chemoattractant.
