Product Name:

Purified anti-Pax2

Catalog Number:

901001

Clone Number:

Poly19010

Anti-Pax2 (Rabbit, cat# 901001 from Biolegend) works really well on mouse embryonic kidneys. Positive staining in the nucleus is observed in early nephron progenitors, including cap mesenchyme cells, comma-shaped and S-shaped structures. Lower expression levels are detected in more mature nephrogenic structures (i.e. capillary loop stage, early glomeruli stage, etc.) where expression becomes more restricted in certain cells within these structures. Expression is also widely detected in the ureteric epithelium. The antibody was used for immunofluorescence staining, using 1:100 dilution in incubation buffer containing BSA and goat serum. Antigen retrieval was performed using sodium citrate buffer, pH6, on a pressure cooker for 5 minutes. Secondary antibody used was Alexa Fluor 488 goat anti-rabbit.
