Our lab likes to use this combination, Thy1.2 in BV510, so that we can easily distinguish Thy1.1 and Thy1.2 cells. When we transfer transgenic P14/OT1 cells into a WT host, a great way to track it is to gate out the Thy1.2 (normal naive wild type host).
