For our lab, we genotype most of our colony of mice. When we have multiple transgenic lines like P14, OTI, OTII, etc it is extremely useful to also have Thy1.1/1.2 markers to distinguish when we co-adoptive transfer cells into a different Wild type host expressing Thy1.2.

Results Summary

Like any flow antibody, there has to be a titration depending on the detection of your machine. For us, 1:2000 works perfectly without being too bright or dim. We have consistently used this for genotyping our mice.
