Cell Signaling is one of the most reliable for our lab. Their antibodies are most monoclonal and clean. There is rarely non-specific bands. This anti-rabbit hrp has given us excellent results 90% of the time.

Experimental Design and Results Summary

Applications

Western Blot

Sample

Murine T cells and muscle cells

Primary Incubation

1:2000 in 4% BSA

Blocking Agent

Nonfat dry milk

Secondary Incubation

1:2000 to 1:5000 dilution depending on primary antibody

Tertiary Incubation

N/A

Detection

ECL

Results Summary

There has been a few times where we had to increase the concentration of this secondary to 1:2000 in order to detect our primary antibody (usually due to poor quality of the antibody or tissue sample). For tissues, the secondary works very well every time while in-vitro samples might require 1:2000 at times.

The Bottom Line

This is a required anti-rabbit antibody for secondary. It works so well for western blots and there is always consistent results.
