We use this to detect any of our rat antibodies for western blot. We normally lyse our murine tissue in RIPA buffer and then run using the Nupage system or Bolt system. Afterwards, this anti-rat works well for secondary detection.

The rat antibody doesn't bind nonspecifically that we have seen so far. It is consistent in results and there has not been any non-specific bands showing up on our western blots.
