Aim of the study was to test the effect of over-expression of a kinase-dead protein on growth factor-induced p38 MAPK phosphorylation in human retinal cells. Protein extracts from control or kinase-dead protein overexpressing cells treated with or without growth factor resolved in 10%SDS-PAGE and immunoblotted to study p38 MAPK. The antibody was selected because antibody flyer has shown a nice, clean and bright band of p-p38 MAPK.
