Aim of the study was to test the effect of treatment of a growth factor to cells on phospho S6K1 (T229) levels. The cells were treated with the growth factor for the indicated period. The S6K1 (phospho T229) levels were measured using anti-S6K1 (phospho T229)antibody procured from Abcam. The selection of antibody from Abcam was based on the western blot picture of antibody specificity, which was shown in the antibody flyer.

Results Summary

In the present study, an antibody from Abcam was used for immunodetection. This antibody has shown excellent specificity towards S6K1 (phospho T229) in human cells. Moreover, growth factor treatment to human cell line affected the S6K1 (phospho T229) study state levels.
