Elevated plasma nitrite levels initiate detrimental effects on vascular system. We used this kit to determine nitrite levels in RAW macrophages after LPS treatment (1 microg/ml). We observed a significant increase in nitrite levels after LPS treatment that were reversed by empagliflozin treatment.
