We are seeking to understand the role of kidney resident macrophages in kidney inflammation. Our flow data show that macrophages in the kidney are MHC II+ and we wanted to confirm this by IF. We picked this MHC Class II antibody because it worked well at e450 channel.

PLP fixed mouse (C57BL/6) kidney cryosections
1 in 200 for 3 hr at room temperature
1% BSA, 1% FCS, 0.3% Triton X, 2% mouse serum, 2% rat serum

Images were acquired using an inverted Zeiss LSM880 confocal microscope with a 20x 0.8NA air objective
As expected kidney F4/80+ (green) cells were also MHC II+ (red).
