The goal of this experiment was to create the Sugen-Hypoxia rat model. Sugen 5416 is a vascular endothelial growth factor receptor protein tyrosine kinase 1/2 inhibitor. It was administered subcutaneously at the nape of the rats. Sugen 5416 is extensively reported in the literature, and hence we used it in creating this animal model. It is easy to use and works well.
