Product Name:

Cholera Toxin Subunit B (Recombinant), Alexa Fluor™ 555 Conjugate

Catalog Number:

C34776

This reagent is used to stain the GM1 of the cell membrane and subsequently used for fluorescence microscopy imaging to see if there is any changes in the cell morphology upon a change in the stimulus. The product is easy to use and specific.

Experimental Design and Results Summary

Application

Fluorescence Microscopy

Starting Material

AGS gastric cancer cell line

Protocol Overview

(1) Stain is diluted in the cell medium. (2) Cell medium is replaced with the new medium containing the dye. (3) Staining is incubated at 4°C for one hour.

Tips

Dye has strong binding, recommended to carry out dilution prior to staining.

Results Summary

The results produced are sensitive and specific. Thus, there isn't much background noise observed when the image is taken.
