CD45 is a tyrosine phosphatase expressed on the plasma membrane of all hematopoietic cells, except erythrocytes and platelets, and thus can be used to identify immune cells such as T cells, B cells, and innate lymphoid cells. In this panel, we use CD45 to identify immune cells in peripheral blood, in combination with other markers to pinpoint other populations. The antibody is bright and specific.
