Our lab studies the role of mTOR, specifically mTORC2 signaling, in macrophage polarization and function. We assessed mTORC2 activity using pAKT as a readout using WT and Rictor KO macrophages to prove function when we knocked out Rictor. This antibody is easy to use and works well.

Experimental Design and Results Summary

Applications

Western Blot

Sample

Murine macrophages (WT and Rictor KO)

Primary Incubation

1:2500 in 4%BSA/TBST

Blocking Agent

5% dry milk/TBST

Secondary Incubation

1:5000 Rabbit IgG HRP in 5%dry milk/TBST

Tertiary Incubation

None
