Company:

Thermo Fisher (eBioscience)

Product Name:

KLRG1 Monoclonal Antibody (2F1), PE-eFluor 610

Catalog Number:

61-5893-82

Our lab studies CD8 T cell memory differentiation. KLRG1 is a readily used marker to identify terminal effector CD8+ T cells. During analysis of CD8 T cells in an acute response, I used this antibody in my T cell panel to identify memory precursors from terminal effector T cells. Based on years of use of this particular clone, we always stick with Thermo (eBio) since they are one of the few that carry it.

Summary

The Good

Very reliable antibody to identify KLRG1+ cells. 1:1000 dilution certainly helps with cost.

The Bad

The flourochrome is a bit hard to compensate but can be done.

The Bottom Line

Awesome antibody at a great price since we use it very diluted. Perfect way to identify terminal effector T cells.
