Protocol Overview

Slides are loaded into the scanner (both bright field and fluorescent images can be taken). The software for the scanner is user friendly and set up takes about 10 mins. The software also allows you to select specific tissues on your slide to be scanned, and allows you to label the slides. After set up the scanning takes approx. 1 min per slide for bright field scanning.

Tips

Slides must be clean of all debris for efficient running and loaded in the correct orientation. Cover slipped slides also need to be the correct length, height and width.
