This antibody was used to detect the FAK protein. FAK encodes a cytoplasmic protein tyrosine kinase which is found concentrated in the focal adhesions that form between cells growing in the presence of extracellular matrix constituents. We used this antibody in our study "Low Focal Adhesion Signaling Promotes Ground State Pluripotency of Mouse Embryonic Stem Cells " which published in J Proteome Res. 2017 Oct 6;16(10):3585-3595. doi: 10.1021/acs.jproteome.7b00322. This antibody gave best results in Westen blot and Immunocytochemistry staining of FAK on the mouse embryonic stem cells.
