Our lab studies the mTOR signaling pathway in T cell differentiation with an emphasis on both CD4 and CD8 T cells. We routinely conduct flow cytometry experiments to analyze the differentiation process into subsets based on transcription factor (TF) analysis. In order to look at Tregs, we analyze T cells for the expression of Foxp3, which is a canonical transcription factor. This antibody color and clone is quite reliable to readily identify Treg cells from a heterogeneous population such as from a spleen.

Summary

The Good

The signal was very strong and was able to identify population.

The Bad

Higher dilution needed to see the difference so a bit costlier.

The Bottom Line

Great antibody and clone to determine Treg population via flow cytometry.
