The product is lyophilised, which works great when freshly reconstituted. It can be used at around 50% efficiency when thawed from -80C aliquots, but later on it doesn't work. Better than two other vendors I used.
Stimulation of monocytic cell lines
Add MCP1 to THP1 cells at 10 nM conc. for 4h and look for inflammatory gene expression.
Use at 20nM upon 2nd thaw. Store in aliquots at -80 C

Works well first time. Slightly expensive, considering you cannot use all product in a shot since acitivity drastically decreases on freeze thaw. Still better than other companies MCP1.
