Product Name:

7-AAD Viability Staining Solution

Catalog Number:

420404

In order to examine viability or apoptosis of cells when treating with various compounds, we use 7AAD (with Annexin V if determining apoptosis) and viability is determined by flow cytometry. 7AAD from BioLegend works well and cost less than from other vendors. We usually test our reagents using a positive control, which are cells treated for 2-4 hours with 0.8mM hydrogen peroxide to induce cell death.
