We have identified a class of ATPase inhibitors that show promise for treatment of ovarian cancer. We are currently evaluating what mechanisms, if any, may lead to resistance to theses ATPase inhibitors. We are measuring changes in protein expression in an animal model of drug resistance. We purchased these systems because of their price, and because we can use precast gels which help decrease variability among the researchers in the lab.

I run polyacylamide gels for Westerns at 60V for 15 minutes, then increase to 100V until the end of the run.
Don't damage or bend the wire that carries current during washing and storage! It will affect the eveness of your lanes/wells.
I have had success using this chamber system for 6 years, without requiring any repairs or replacements. As long at the wire isn't damaged or bent, wells/lanes run evenly and I can readily reproduce my data.
Run 4 gels in one chamber!
