We want to understand breast cancer and we use the MMTV-PyMT mammary tumor mouse model, where oncogenesis is induced by the polyoma virus middle T (PyMT) oncoprotein under the control of the mouse mammary tumor virus (MMTV) promoter. After testing different anti-E-Cadherin antibodies, we chose this product due to the reliable and reproducible results we got.
Immunofluorescence
PLP fixed mouse (C57BL/6) virgin mammary gland cryosections
2.5ug/ml for 3h at room temperature
1% BSA, 1% FCS, 0.3% Triton X, 2% mouse serum, 2% rat serum

Images were acquired using an inverted Zeiss LSM880 confocal microscope with an 20x 0.8NA air objective.
18um cryosections of virgin mammary gland were stained with anti-E-Cadherin Alexa Fluor® 647 (green), a-SMA (white) and counterstained with DAPI (blue).
