The general aim of the experiment is to study the effect of high fat diet on Pyk2 & Mac3 co-localization. Pyk2 is a nonreceptor tyrosine kinase of Fak family. Pyk2 is one of the signaling mediatiors for G protein coupled receptors. Here we checked the high fat diet effect on Pyk2 & Mac3 co-localization on mice samples by immunoflorescence method. This product is used to mount the heart samples after immunofluorescence staining and prevent it from drying and help to view under microscope.
Double immunofluorescence Staining
Mouse heart sections
Fix the heart sections with 50%methanol and then stain with primary and secondary antibodies and washed with PBS twice and add two drops of Vectashield mounting medium and mount it and view under microscope.
Use one or two drops only
This mounting medium prevent it from drying and useful for staining.
