The overall goal of this study is to study transmission of HIV/SIV via sexual mode. We specifically wanted to phenotype the cells infected by staining for variety of chemokine receptors in various macaque tissues. We choose this antibody since it was suggested that it works in our specie of macaques (rhesus) for the purposes of fluorescent microscopy.

One hour at room temperature at 1:100 dilution in PBS
Blocking buffer (Donkey Nomral Serum)
30 minutes at room temperature AF647 antibody at 1:800 dilution in PBS

Fluorescence Microscopy
This antibody works well in anorectal tissues of Rhesus Macaque. No background problems or non specific binding was encountered.
