In the present study, individuals suffering from specific conditions were tested for serum tissue factor levels using standard ELISA protocol. ELISA kit for CD142 was obtained from Abcam and selection of antibody was based on merits shown in kit flyer and available reviews.
Quantitative estimation of CD142 in human blood serum

Blood from individuals suffering with specific clinical conditions were collected, allowed to form clot and clear serum was collected in a fresh centrifuge tube. Serum was added to the wells of CD142 antibody coated microtiter wells, and incubated for 2 hours at room temperature. Wells were washed 5 times with wash buffer and biotynylated CD142 antibody was add and plate was incubated for 2 hours at room temperature. Further, wells were washed five times with wash buffer and incubated SP-conjugate for 30 minutes. Chromogen substrate was added to wells and developed colour was read in a plate reader at 450 nm absorption wavelength.
