The CD31 antibody was used to detect endothelial cells generated from inv itro cultures. We generated endothelial cells by in vitro differentiation of non human (NHP) iPSCs on OP9 cultures. The endothelial cells generated have a phenotype of CD31+ and CD144+. This clone of CD31 was reported to cross react with NHP. The antibody could very clearly identify the endothelial population and gave a clear separation.
